Product FAQ
What is (not) covered by Sustainability Master?
The functionality of the solution covers your entire ESG needs: Environment, Social and Governance requirements. It is ready for global and European requirements and will be updated for changes in regulations constantly. All 34 GRI instructions (e.g. emissions, energy, waste, inclusion & diversity, labor conditions) are covered already or are included in our product planning before regulations take effect. The entire functionality from data collection to compliance reporting, from goal setting to actioning, are covered functionally.
Is Sustainability Master already available?
Yes, our solution is on the market in various languages and countries and can be run in the English version in all other countries. Our set-up and support activities are in principle all given off-site, through the cloud and through Teams, so there is no geographical limitation for you to take into account. You can also run the solution with your global business if you’re located in multiple geographies. The solution is industry agnostic, though our product planning covers publishing templates for specific sectors whenever appropriate.
How secure is Sustainability Master?
The solution runs on the solid Master Collections platform, which is 100% Microsoft Azure based and benefits from the Microsoft security regime. Your company will run on its own Azure tenant, provided by Maistering and Microsoft, not shared by any other company. You are the only one that has access to your data. Maistering makes use of specialized security providers to regularly test the safety of our solution and adheres to European GDPR standards.
What do I need to run Sustainability Master?
Your basic Microsoft 365 licenses that you already have and a subscription to Sustainability Master. With it comes the underlying Master Collections platform and access to your own company Azure tenant running on the European secured Microsoft data centers. The standard browser on the laptop or any other screen will give access to the solution for every authorized user. All data and other automation services that will help you run your ESG program and reporting, are accessible via the browser in the cloud.
What is the technology behind Sustainability Master?
The solution is built on the robust and enterprise-grade Master Collections platform which runs on Microsoft Azure and has all the security strength of this environment which you also use for your MS365 and other Microsoft cloud solutions. The solution is docked on the Microsoft collaborative environment: Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, PowerBI and so on. The solution is completely API-based (which means it is open to connect with surrounding systems) and it is the most modern generation of software: data-driven and AI-infused.
Does Sustainability Master fit within my application landscape?
In addition to the close integration with the Microsoft collaborative environment, we will connect the KPI library of Sustainability Master with an agreed set of surrounding systems such as your ERP, HR, financial, production or data warehouse system. For that we will use above mentioned API’s of Master Collections and the neighboring systems. Maistering will align with your IT-team on this wiring. For each KPI we will align on frequency and temporality of the streaming.
Can I afford Sustainability Master?
Yes. While Sustainability is probably the most complete ESG solution on the market, it will be yours for a basic Set-up fee and an accessible monthly fee, which you will find in our transparent Pricing Sheet which you can download from this site. The monthly fee will cover the required functionalities and include all cost: the Microsoft Azure cloud is included in the bill, so are all other subscription to third party data and contents services included in the package, and same is true for our advisory and support activities.
Who takes care of updating Sustainability Master?
Maistering does. You have a subscription to the solution and will receive regular updates for the solution, containing solutions bugs, new functionalities, and new templates. Your IT-team has no effort in maintaining or running Sustainability Master.The only exception where your IT-team will get involved, is if API’s of the neighboring systems in your application landscape are changed. Superusers in your team are always able to create their own templates in our solution.
